The TTD-SS Dynamic Torque Transducer with RPM/Angle Sensing is a high-precision, strain gauge-based rotary torque sensor designed for accurate measurement of torque along with rotational speed (RPM) or angular position in dynamic applications. Constructed from stainless steel (17-4 PH), it offers excellent durability, resistance to shock, and overload protection.
This transducer uses a slip ring and brush mechanism to transmit electrical signals, ensuring reliable performance in rotating systems up to 2500 RPM. It features temperature compensation (10C to 50C) and is designed to minimize errors due to axial and bending forces.
Available in a wide range from 020 Nm to 010,000 Nm, it is suitable for various industrial testing and measurement applications. Optional digital interfaces and output formats (420 mA, RS-485, USB, wireless) make it adaptable to modern data acquisition systems.
It measures dynamic torque along with RPM (speed) or angle of rotation, making it ideal for rotating machinery analysis.
2. What is the operating principle?
It is based on strain gauge technology, where deformation in the shaft due to torque is converted into an electrical signal.
The transducer can operate up to 2500 RPM (depending on capacity range).
Standard output is 2 mV/V, with optional outputs like:
420 mA
02 V
Digital (RS-485 / USB / Wireless)
It is made from stainless steel 17-4 PH, ensuring high strength and corrosion resistance.
