The TTD Non-Contact Dynamic Torque Transducer is a CE-certified rotary torque sensor designed for accurate torque measurement in rotating shafts and industrial equipment. Unlike slip-ring models, this version uses wireless radio telemetry, eliminating mechanical signal transfer and ensuring low-noise, maintenance-friendly operation.
Constructed from hardened Stainless Steel 17-4 PH, the sensor operates on the strain gauge principle with built-in measuring circuit, ADC, microcontroller, and RF transmitter. The torque shaft houses a rechargeable Li-Ion battery (approx. 20 hours runtime), transmitting real-time torque data to a stationary receiver with LED display.
It supports speeds up to 5000 RPM and offers capacities from 20 Nm to 50 kNm, making it suitable for high-speed dynamic torque testing in industrial and automotive environments.
Type: Dynamic Rotary Torque Transducer (Non-Contact, Wireless)
Construction: Stainless Steel 17-4 PH
Capacity Range: 20 Nm to 50 kNm
Max Speed: 5000 RPM
Temperature Compensated Range: 10C to 50C
Operating Temperature: 0C to 50C
Non-Linearity: 0.1% FSO
Hysteresis: 0.1% FSO
Non-Repeatability: 0.25% FSO
Safe Overload: 150% of Rated Capacity
Ultimate Overload: 200% of Rated Capacity
Telemetry Range: Up to 15 meters
Display Power Supply: 230 VAC, 50 Hz
It uses radio telemetry transmission instead of slip rings or brushes, eliminating mechanical contact for signal transfer.
It operates on the strain gauge principle, where torsional strain in the shaft is converted into an electrical signal. The built-in electronics convert and transmit the signal wirelessly.
It supports speeds up to 5000 RPM, depending on capacity.
The inbuilt rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides approximately 20 hours of runtime per charge.
The transmitter can send signals up to 15 meters to the receiver.
Operating Temperature: 0C to 50C
Temperature Compensated Range: 10C to 50C
